- australiametrics.org — Australia's national performance dashboard
- agriiq.com.au — Australian agricultural intelligence platform
Questions about this policy can be directed to us via highimpactgroup.com.au.
2. What We Collect — At a Glance
The short version: we collect almost nothing.
Neither AustraliaMetrics nor AgriIQ requires registration, collects email addresses, or stores personal information about visitors. You can use both platforms fully without providing any personal details.

3. AI Assistants — Bob and Dale
AustraliaMetrics includes Bob, and AgriIQ includes Dale — AI-powered assistants that help users explore platform data and ask questions in plain language.
Conversations are not stored. When you close your session, your conversation is gone. We do not log, analyse, review, share or retain the content of conversations with Bob or Dale.
To prevent abuse, we apply temporary rate limits based on IP address (number of requests per hour). This count is held in memory only, resets automatically, and is not linked to conversation content or any personal identifier.
Conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic's own privacy practices apply to the processing of API requests. See anthropic.com/privacy for details.
4. Web Intake Forms
AgriIQ includes an optional web intake form for users who wish to register interest or request updates. This form collects only what you choose to submit.
Information submitted through this form is:
- Used only for the purpose for which it was submitted
- Not sold, shared or disclosed to third parties
- Retained only as long as necessary for that purpose
- Held securely in our platform database
You may request deletion of any submitted information at any time by contacting us via highimpactgroup.com.au.
AustraliaMetrics does not include any web intake or submission forms.
5. Analytics
Both platforms use anonymised analytics to understand how the platforms are used in aggregate — for example, which pages are most visited and how users navigate the site.
Analytics data is:
- Aggregated and anonymised — not linked to individuals
- Used only to improve the platform experience
- Not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes
We use Vercel Analytics for this purpose. Vercel's privacy practices apply. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
6. Cookies
Neither platform uses tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Functional cookies or local storage may be used to remember user preferences such as display settings (for example, light or dark theme). These are stored on your device only and contain no personal information.
7. Third-Party Services
Our platforms are hosted on Vercel and use Supabase for database infrastructure. Both are reputable providers with their own privacy and security practices.
AI functionality is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Data displayed on the platforms is sourced from Australian government agencies under open data licences.
We do not embed third-party advertising, social media trackers, or any commercial tracking technology on either platform.
8. Children
Our platforms are general public information resources and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
9. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Request access to any personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal information we hold about you
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy has been breached
Given how little we collect, most of these rights will not be practically relevant. If you have submitted information via our web intake form and wish to have it deleted, contact us and we will action it promptly.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via highimpactgroup.com.au.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the limited information that passes through our platforms. Our platforms are served over HTTPS. Database infrastructure uses industry-standard security practices.
Given the minimal nature of data collection, the security risk profile of both platforms is low.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
If we ever materially expand our data collection practices, we will update this policy before doing so.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
